The Southsea Folk Awards 2021

You may or may not already be aware of Southsea Folk and what they do – but if you’re not, Southsea Folk is a fantastic online resource & printed magazine celebrating Portsmouth’s local independent biz, restaurants, creatives & artists. As part of their support of the city’s independents, Southsea Folk started the Southsea Folk Awards as a way of promoting & praising the hard work that they all do. There is a range of categories in the awards – and this year they have added a Best Blogger category!

So – I’m very excited (and honoured) to say that I have been shortlisted for the Best Blogger award! It’s the first time I’ve been nominated for an award and I’m incredibly excited about it.

If you would like to vote for the fantastic local independents shortlisted for the categories, voting is open over on the Southsea Folk Awards page – you’ll see some of my favourite biz shortlisted including Natty’s Jerk, Southsea Beach Cafe, Low Tide Coffee, Southsea Bathing Hut, Strong Island Clothing, Portsmouth Distillery and Tenth Hole, among many others.

You can vote here – and if you would like to vote for me too, I would appreciate it more than you can imagine!
