It may not currently feel like it, but Spring is here! Even though it’s cold… and raining… ALL the time. So, we took advantage of the first sunny, slightly warm afternoon to pop over to Hamble and have a play with Tom’s new drone.
Destination of choice – Hamble Point Marina, which has a pretty fantastic view overlooking Southampton Water.
Tom recently treated himself to a DJI Spark Drone for his birthday – and I must say, it was such a fantastic investment. The quality of both video and photo is pretty impressive, and with the built in gimbal, the Spark is steady in most conditions. A massive thumbs up from me!

I took advantage of the sun to go on a little photo walk along the beach, which incidentally is where we had our first night away in the camper van! (You can read about that here)
Grab a cuppa and get ready for some photos. I’m quite pleased with these – they make me feel so ready for summer!
I’ve heard rumours we are due for a heatwave next week – here’s hoping we get a little sun soon!
