Do I have more sweet treats for you to drool over today? You bet I do! A lot of fantastic local small businesses have started offering food delivery services over the past couple of months, which is brilliant news for everyone spending vast amounts of time at home. Myself included! And, what better delivery to make your time at home that bit easier than a box of sweet treats from Mooreish? Mooreish is a small bakery service based in Portsmouth, creating homemade sweet treat boxes available for contactless delivery to your door.
The flavours inside the treat boxes vary weekly, but typically include brownies, blondies and millionaires slices. Your slabs of baked goods arrive in a recyclable cardboard box, ready to eat as soon as you can!
In our treat box we received 6 different flavours:
- Honeycomb Millionaire’s
- Peanut Butter Brownie
- Coconut & Chocolate Blondie
- Mint Bubble Millionaire’s
- Triple Chocolate Brownie
- Raspberry & White Choc Blondie
Each slice was much larger than I was expecting, making this treat box perfect for sharing (if you’re so inclined).
Each slice was delicious, with fantastic flavour combinations – we enjoyed them all, but my personal favourites were probably the brownies. I always love a bit of chocolate!
Below is the Peanut Butter Brownie – this one was particularly tasty.
Each treat box from Mooreish is £10 with a £2.50 delivery fee – I feel that this is very reasonably priced considering the size and quality of each of the slices! Delivery is available for postcodes PO1 – PO7 & PO16, and the boxes will soon be available for collection from Portsmouth as well.
The mixed treat box flavours are announced every Sunday, when the orders for the following week open up. The boxes sell out very quickly, so make sure to get your order in quickly if you’d like some! I’d definitely recommend treating yourself to a box of Mooreish baked goods – we really enjoyed ours and they lasted us a few days.
