Greece Photo Diary: Santorini & Crete

Back in 2015 I headed on a trip to Crete, spending a day in Santorini while we were there. I’d wanted to go to Crete since I was very young, after learning all about Greek mythology and the minotaur – so, this was a special holiday for me! It was my first time visiting Greece, and it certainly won’t be my last – it’s such a beautiful country, with so much to explore! We headed to Corfu last year which was lovely – I’m looking forward to returning to Greece to visit more of the islands.

I enjoyed taking lots of photographs on this trip (although my skills have improved considerably in the last 5 years!), so I thought I’d share some of my favourites with you. I’ve put together these photos which will hopefully give you a taste of Crete!

We ate a lot of prawns, garlic bread, Greek salad & anchovies on our trip – washed down with Frappe.

Our trip was with Tui, and we had a great time – our hotel was lovely & the airport transfers were easy.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this taste of Crete! Have you ever been to Greece?
