Tis the season to go pumpkin picking! Autumn is finally here (I have been especially impatient this year) and I’m very excited for all of the things this season brings – crunchy leaves underfoot, cosy rainy days, crisp mornings & of course – pumpkins! I’m personally not a fan of Halloween, however I do love pumpkins, gourds, squashes & all things Autumn. So, I thought I’d put together a comprehensive guide for where to go pumpkin picking in Hampshire this year!
On another note, if you love all things Autumn (like me) head over to my pal Jaye’s Hunting for Autumn website – she’s just launched a brand new range for 2021 with Autumn themed items from small businesses for sale – think cosy sweatshirts, beautiful candles & seasonal prints!
Covering Southampton, Hayling Island, the New Forest and all the areas in-between, this guide for where to go pumpkin picking in Hampshire covers all of the places to visit for your Autumn bucket list!
Let’s dive straight in!
(PS – all of the photographs in this post are from pumpkin picking last year at Steve Harris PYO which was brilliant fun – and my first experience of pumpkin picking!)

They’re open 7 days a week, from 9am – 5pm Monday to Saturday and 9am to 4pm on Sundays. Pumpkins will be available for picking from 1st October (although it looks like they have opened their pumpkin fields ALREADY so you can head there straight away!). I’d recommend visiting early in the morning to avoid the rush!
