Smoothies, green juices and health foods are right on trend nowadays – so popular that towns are now swamped with cafes, restaurants and shops offering them. It’s become increasingly difficult to sort the good from the over priced and mediocre – so I was excited when I heard about Rawberry in Winchester.
Rawberry offers a 100% vegetarian menu, with plenty of vegan and gluten free choices. If you struggle to find places to eat that are fantastic with dietary requirements, Rawberry is an excellent choice in the bustling centre of Winchester.

Located on a side street just off the busy main high street in Winchester, Rawberry offers a refreshingly simple and straightforward selection of juices, smoothies, breakfast food and savoury options.
As you enter the bright, airy cafe, you are met with friendly faces and a unique clipboard-style menu. I absolutely love the way that Rawberry display their menu!

The interior of Rawberry is bright and clean, with plenty of plants and places to perch. If the upstairs seating is looking a little busy, there’s also a downstairs area for you to grab a seat in.

I opted for ‘The Detox’ juice, a vibrant blend of beetroot, basil, apple and spinach. I personally love beetroot, so this juice was perfect – but I know it’s not everyones cup of tea!
Unable to resist the lure of a colourful latte, I also ordered a Turmeric Latte – it was my first time trying one, and it was absolutely delicious. Made with oat milk and lightly spiced, this drink is perfect for warming you up and is ridiculously good for you!
Rawberry also offer a matcha latte, beetroot latte and charcoal latte – so I’ll be needing to return to try these out, of course! (Purely for reviewing purposes, you understand)

Food-wise, I chose the Sweet Potato Bagel and Dad opted for the Central American Wrap – both of which were really tasty. All of the food and drink at Rawberry is vegetarian – which isn’t something that I normally look for, but the food was all so delicious and I’d recommend this cafe to all of my vegetarian & non-veggie friends.
When plant-based food can be this flavoursome & colourful, why not give it a go?

I’d highly recommend visiting Rawberry if you find yourself near Winchester (or even if you aren’t – Winchester is a fantastic spot for a day trip!) – have a look at their website here, and if you do visit, let me know what you chose! I’ll definitely be returning to try out some of their breakfast menu.
