Back in September (I’m slowly catching up, I promise!) we went on a boat trip across to Chichester Harbour. Unfortunately, the weather was a little bit grey and miserable – but that didn’t wipe the smile from Tom’s face!

We’ve visited Chichester Marina many times by road, as the onsite restaurant is one of our favourite lunch spots – but I had never been in by boat before, so making our way through the lock gate was a new experience for me!
As you can see, I was a little perplexed by the situation…

The Boat House Cafe at Chichester Marina is a lovely spot for lunch or a cuppa, with quick service, great views and lots of outside seating – if you feel so inclined! For the winter months, there is a cosy fire inside.
I opted for a fish bap (yum) and fries. A classic.

Tom spent a lot of time playing with our newish toy, a GoPro HERO Session camera. We are really pleased with it – it’s really small and compact, easy to use and the accompanying iPhone app is very user friendly. The photos and videos are pretty good quality too!

I think it’s safe to say that I’m quite excited to get out on the water again when the weather warms up a little! Perhaps a chilly trip in January…?
