AD – I have paid for the majority of our BBQ Boss deliveries myself, but I was recently sent some items from the new menu in exchange for a review.
If you’re in the mood for a barbecue feast at home, look no further than BBQ Boss! With sites in Fareham & Waterlooville, BBQ Boss serve up some AWESOME barbecue meats, burgers & loaded fries. They’ve also recently launched a new menu with even more meaty goodness – there’s absolutely something for everyone from BBQ Boss! We’ve had a few deliveries from BBQ boss over the last few months, so we have managed to work our way through the majority of the menu. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed everything we’ve tried – so let me show you the good stuff!
I was first drawn to BBQ Boss after seeing some photos on Instagram of their meat platters – I don’t think I’ve ever been so quick to order a takeaway before! Dubbed an American style smokehouse, BBQ boss smokes their own meat, serves up a range of big eats and caters for vegan diets too.
Behold, the mighty meat platter. This BBQ feast generously serves two people, with a combination of smoked brisket, hot link sausages, pulled pork and smoked chicken leg – along with mac n’cheese, coleslaw and fries as sides. We’ve had this a couple of times and it’s a great BBQ dinner for two – although I can’t see it on their new menu, however you can order all of the meat separately!
My personal favourite from the meat platter is the brisket or the chicken – perfectly smoked meat, delivered to your door. What more could you ask for?
The mac n’cheese is also excellent – you can have it as a side or you can have it in a burger or hot dog! We’ve added this on to a few of our orders as I just can’t get enough.
As I mentioned, we’ve managed to work our way through most of the menu over the last few months – so I can reliably say that we are big fans of BBQ Boss!
I’m partial to their hot dogs, burgers and loaded fries – basically, everything on the menu is great and you won’t be disappointed with whatever you order!
BBQ Boss recently launched a new menu with some exciting additions – so, when they offered to send a delivery our way to try the new menu items, of course I said yes!
On this occasion we ordered our favourite Cluckin’ Boss chicken burger (not a new addition, but something we like to order regularly!), the Pig Dog, Truffle Shuffle loaded fries & a half rack of ribs. We’re fans of sharing in our household and BBQ Boss serves generous portions which are perfect for this!
The Pig Dog was fantastic – a huge hot dog topped with pulled pork, spring onions & a healthy serving of BBQ sauce. I’m also a huge fan of the Truffle Shuffle loaded fries – topped with cheese & onion. These are amazing. Likewise, the ribs were also excellent and I found myself wishing we’d ordered a full rack!

We’ve become loyal customers of BBQ Boss over the last few months and I’d recommend their food to anyone who lives in the delivery area – whether you’re in the mood for a platter of glorious smoked meat, a loaded hot dog & fries or a classic burger (vegan or not!), there is something for everyone on the menu.
