Just before christmas, Dad and I stayed in London for a few days. We stayed in a Indigo Hotel in Chelsea for 3 nights, and the hotel was lovely! I had a room all to myself, with the most amazing shower and complementary tea and drinks every day!
(Sorry for the bad quality, I was taking these photos quickly!)
It was veryyyy cold in London when we arrived, so I wrapped up warm ready for a trip to Covent Garden and Carnaby Street!
The next morning the sky was a lovely blue and the air was really crisp, so we decided to walk all the way to Harrods, allowing us to explore the streets of Kensington and Chelsea and enjoy the weather.
We walked past the Natural History Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum on the way – who knew everything was so close together!
We spent the day mooching around Harrods and Selfridges, and had a couple of lovely meals (which I’ll be featuring in their own posts!).
The next day we headed straight to Selfridges to finish exploring – I’d never been before, and it took quite a while to look around the store!
We then headed to South Molton Street, and had a little wander around Mayfair, spotting places like Claridges as we walked around!
Needless to say, we felt a little under dressed so decided not to go in.
After exploring Mayfair for the rest of the afternoon, we were knackered and headed back to the hotel to chill before diner.
We had dinner in Sloane Square, which was amazing. The next day we explored the Kings Road for the whole morning before catching the train home.
It may seem like we didn’t do much – but we were so tired when we finally arrived back home!
It was a lovely trip, and I would definitely stay in Chelsea again!
